Directions to the Ötztal

- From the North: Kempten - Füssen - Reutte - Fernpass - Imst - Exit Ötztal - continue on the B186 35km through Ötz, Umhausen, Längenfeld and Sölden and continue on to Zwieselstein.
- Alternative: Munich - Rosenheim - Kufstein - Autobahn A12 - Exit Ötztal - continue on the B186 35km through Ötz, Umhausen, Längenfeld and Sölden, continue on to Zwieselstein.
- From the West: Arlbergpass/tunnel - Landeck - Autobahn A12 towards Innsbruck - Exit Ötztal - continue on the B186 35km towards Sölden and continue on to Zwieselstein.
- From the South: Brennerpass - Innsbruck - Autobahn A12 - Exit Ötztal- continue on the B186 35km through Ötz, Umhausen, Längenfeld and Sölden and continue on to Zwieselstein.
- Alternative: Meran over Timmelsjoch-pass to Sölden - boarder at approx. 2.500 m - open from June until the end of October.
Please beware of the toll roads- toll sticker "Vignette" is compulsory on the Autobahn (motorway).
The closest train station is the "Ötztal-Bahnhof" at the entrance to the Ötztal valley. There is no train into the valley but you can travel by public bus for approx. 50 minutes towards Obergurgl and directly to Zwieselstein.
